I seriously love couples.
And love.
And, couples in love. Ok, I think you get what I’m getting at here!
Kylee & Justin were just that kind of couple. Young, adorable and in love. And they completely rocked their session!
These two lovebirds have the cutest story about how they met. They both worked at TopGolf together, and while they were working the same shift a coworker introduced them to one another. Kylee then began talking to them both about a guy she had been serving who had invited her out after her shift finished up and Justin, being the total gentleman he is, offered to go with her! As luck would have it, they both got off work too late to take up that offer and they ended up making plans together for the next Taco Tuesday (my kinda people you guys!) and the rest is history! These two have been inseparable ever since!
I really can’t even begin to speak enough about how amazing these two are, not only together, but on their own. Kylee is in school getting her doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology and Justin is working on his Masters in Education Science! Not only that, but these two are seriously inspiring leaders who really spread a positive message to the world around them. I love how authentically they speak, and how they boldly go out into the world and share real life with others. They aren’t afraid to talk about the things that may be uncomfortable to bring awareness — and that is something that is near and dear to my heart! I believe each of us has a story, and it’s our duty and responsibility to share it with others! When we do so, we reduce shame, fear and isolation, so I love love love finding others who share the same mentality!
So, about this gorgeous couple here! These two were phenomenal to photograph, and for so many reasons. First of all, I offered my styling guide to them and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. I loved how well Kylee communicated with me while she was styling the outfits. Since I had picked the location and had a good idea on what the background looked like it was nice to be able to chat with her about our different options, and even nicer when she suggested something and then we got to work on a more flattering option together! My number one goal for my clients is for them to always have beautiful, classic images that will really stand the test of time! I think they absolutely pulled that off with their choice!
And that beautiful Arizona light! These two really were so great about following me around – you see, sometimes I have Photographer ADD, and quite interestingly I totally do have ADD, but when I’m on a session I’ll feel really good about what we were able to capture and then the light will change ever so slightly or I’ll spot a location I love love love, and then next! These two followed me around to my different location ideas and just had the best time ever! We laughed, stomped around warding off any potential run in with snakes like the Step-Mom in Parent Trap – you know, when she’s hitting those sticks together trying to scare off bears, and swapped stories about life!
